Parameters:gadget - A gadget handle
Description:Activates the specified gadget.
Activating a gadget means the users keyboard input will be sent to the specified gadget for processing. This is mostly useful for gadgets like textfields and textareas.
| Anytime a gadget is clicked on by the user it retains the focus for keystrokes. Clicking on canvas will not return focus to the main screen or window. Use "Activategadget whand" to return the focus to the main program after processing a gadget event ($401) to avoid having your main program become unresponsive to keystrokes. |
